The Pelikan M205 DUO Highlighter in Shiny Green is a unique fusion of a fountain pen and highlighter, introduced as a special edition in 2013 following the success of the original neon yellow model. This pen is designed for those who appreciate the elegance of fountain pens but also require the functionality of a highlighter.

Design & Build

Color & Finish: The pen features a transparent green demonstrator body, allowing you to see the ink level and the inner workings of the piston-filling mechanism. It is complemented by silver-colored trim, giving it a sleek and modern appearance.

Trim & Logo: Accented with rhodium-plated silver trim, including the clip and cap band. The cap features Pelikan’s post-2003 logo—a single pelican chick in the nest.

Ink: Each pen comes with a 30ml bottle of specially formulated fluorescent green highlighter ink. This ink is designed specifically for use with the DUO series pens and is not recommended for use in other fountain pens due to its unique properties. The ink appears particularly vibrant on paper, enhancing the visibility of highlighted sections.

Construction: Crafted from high-quality resin, the pen is lightweight yet sturdy, making it suitable for daily use.

 Writing Experience
Nib: Equipped with an extra broad (BB) stainless steel nib, the M205 DUO is optimized for highlighting text. The broad nib ensures smooth ink flow and coverage, making it ideal for marking important information.
