Pelikan M200 Smoky Quartz Fountain Pen Set

The Pelikan M200 Smoky Quartz is a 2017 Special Edition fountain pen that combines Pelikan's classic design with a warm, translucent brown finish, complemented by gold-plated trim. It was released alongside the Edelstein Ink of the Year 2017, also named Smoky Quartz.

Design & Build

Color & Finish: The pen features a semi-transparent smoky brown resin body and cap, allowing a subtle view of the internal piston mechanism and ink level. This demonstrator-style design is complemented by gold-plated trim and Pelikan’s signature pelican-beak clip.

Trim & Logo: Accented with rhodium-plated silver trim, including the clip and cap band. The cap features Pelikan’s post-2003 logo—a single pelican chick in the nest.

Construction: Crafted from high-quality resin, the pen is lightweight yet sturdy, making it suitable for daily use.

 Writing Experience
Nib: Equipped with a polished stainless steel nib available in sizes EF, F, M, B. The nib offers a smooth and consistent writing experience, with a slight wetness that enhances ink flow. 

Filling Mechanism: Utilizes Pelikan’s differential piston filling system, allowing for a generous ink capacity of 1.2 ml.
