Pelikan M205 Star Ruby Fountain Pen Set Special Edition

The Pelikan M205 Star Ruby Fountain Pen is a special edition released in 2019, inspired by the gemstone "star ruby" and the corresponding Edelstein Ink of the Year. Its resin body features a unique crystal effect that sparkles under light, complemented by silver-plated trim and the classic Pelikan beak clip. Equipped with a highly polished stainless steel nib, the pen offers a smooth writing experience. It utilizes Pelikan's reliable piston-filling mechanism 

Design & Build

Color & Finish: The pen features a semi-transparent  burgundy-pink resin body and cap, allowing a view of the internal piston mechanism and ink level. This demonstrator-style design is complemented by silver-colored trim and Pelikan’s signature pelican-beak clip

Trim & Logo: Accented with rhodium-plated silver trim, including the clip and cap band. The cap features Pelikan’s post-2003 logo—a single pelican chick in the nest.

Construction: Crafted from high-quality resin, the pen is lightweight yet sturdy, making it suitable for daily use.

 Writing Experience
Nib: Equipped with a polished stainless steel nib available in sizes EF, F, M, B. The nib offers a smooth and consistent writing experience, with a slight wetness that enhances ink flow. 

Filling Mechanism: Utilizes Pelikan’s differential piston filling system, allowing for a generous ink capacity of 1.2 ml.
